As discussed previously, feedback is very important because it helps students understand and think critically on the work or assignment in which feedback is been sought. As a traditional classroom teacher, I usually have conferences with the students to discuss their progress in the class and to provide positive feedback on how they can improve in any given topic in the class or in general. On occasions when deemed necessary, I will write feedback on a piece of paper and hand them the notes and tell them to attach it to their notebooks and to please come in for a conference. This has worked well with the students that are genuinely worried about their education and they are usually comply and respond very well to the feedback. As mentioned before feedback can also provide them with guidance and that’s usually what students want.
